About BBM’s Classes & Workshops

Over the years, the BBM Music and Cultural Project has offered countless workshops and classes focusing on the musical traditions of West Africa.

Having traveled to places like Guinea and Ghana, West Africa, to study with master musicians and local artists steeped in the rich traditions of their place, director Dave Kobrenski strives to arrange programs of group and individual study that are based in knowledge and founded in a deep respect for tradition.

We invite you to take part in our special programs that emphasize not only the study of drum, but building community in our local areas as well!
